Why do my creations have first names?

At first, there was no talk of a collection, or even of first names.

Everything started when a friend asked me to make her the same bag as mine, in the color of her choice. Another friend then asked me for one in turn.

I then asked myself a very simple question: how could I allow my future customers to easily identify each model?

The idea was born: give them first names.

It all started with Cynthia

Cynthia was the first.

Then came Claire, Camille, Louna, Mimie… When a friend asked me for a model different from those I had already made, it would simply take her first name.

And then there was Stéphanie, with a different story: she was the very first person to order from my online shop. I wanted to keep a trace of this important first milestone, so my new model took her first name.

Sometimes, inspiration comes from elsewhere…

Some names are also inspired by my pets.

Tito, my beige Labrador, inspired a beige bag. Otis, my black Labrador, gave his name to my black wallet. And Navy, my Chihuahua, inspired my small coin purse… simply because he is small too.

Even some accessories hide their own story: their names are anagrams of the first names of my children or my husband.

Ultimately, at Les Créations de VmZ, names are almost never chosen at random.

Behind each of them hides a person, a memory, a nod, or a little piece of my own history.
